GLI OBIETTIVI
Il contest è promosso da Bia Spa, da 15 anni main sponsor del festival. Da sempre Bia ha a cuore l’internazionalizzazione, esportando i suoi cous cous in 40 paesi del mondo. Dalla semola tradizionale, di grano duro a quelle realizzate con cereali diversi come il farro, il kamut o l’integrale arrivando fino ai gluten free e quindi mais o riso, i cous cous Bia entrano nelle cucine di tutto il mondo come prodotti salubri, sostenibili e capaci di intercettare le esigenze più diverse.

The contest is promoted by Bia Spa, the main sponsor of the festival for 15 years. Bia has always cared about internationalization, exporting its cous cous to 40 countries around the world. From traditional semolina, durum wheat to those made with different cereals such as spelt, kamut or whole grain up to gluten free and then corn or rice, Bia cous cous enter the kitchens of the world as healthy products, sustainable and able to intercept the most diverse needs.
COME PARTECIPARE
Il contest è rivolto a chef professionisti di nazionalità straniera che vivono in Italia o all’estero.
Per partecipare bisogna iscriversi a partire dal 24 giugno e fino al 21 agosto e caricare sul sito la fotografia di una ricetta a base di cous cous realizzata in qualsiasi variante (verdure, carne, pesce, frutta, dolce, etc.), il proprio curriculum e una descrizione del piatto.
how to take part
The contest is aimed at professional chefs of foreign nationality living in Italy or abroad.
To participate you must register from June 24 and until August 21 and upload on the site a photograph of a recipe of couscous made in any variant (vegetables, meat, fish, fruit, dessert, etc.), your resume and a description of the dish.
juries
There will be two juries to evaluate the nominations:
– a popular one, namely web surfers who will vote via Facebook login
– a technique, chaired by Paolo Marchi, creator and organizer of Identità golose
LE GIURIE
Ci saranno due giurie a valutare le candidature:
– una popolare, ovvero i navigatori del web che voteranno tramite login di Facebook
– una tecnica, presieduta da Paolo Marchi, ideatore e organizzatore di Identità golose
I VINCITORI
Lo chef vincitore per la giuria popolare sarà colui che avrà ottenuto maggior numero di like/cuori e parteciperà di diritto alla gara live al Cous Cous Fest, a San Vito Lo Capo dal 22 al 24 settembre 2022, in rappresentanza del paese di nascita.
La giuria tecnica, invece, esaminerà le candidature e selezionerà fino a un massimo di 8 chef (uno per nazione) che si sfideranno live, insieme allo chef più votato dal web, a settembre durante il Cous Cous Fest, rappresentando il loro Paese di appartenenza. Alla fine delle gare verrà proclamato il Campione del Mondo Cous Cous Fest 2022.
WINNERS
The winning chef for the popular jury will be the one who will have obtained the most likes/ hearts and will participate in the live competition at the Cous Cous Fest, in San Vito Lo Capo from 22 to 24 September 2022, representing the country of birth.
The technical jury, instead, will examine the nominations and select up to a maximum of 8 chefs (one per nation) who will compete live, along with the chef most voted by the web, in September during the Cous Cous Fest, representing their country of origin. At the end of the races will be proclaimed the World Champion Cous Cous Fest 2022.
