It is a crossroads of cultures, an occasion where people come together to celebrate cultural integration and diversity through a symbolic dish: cous cous. For more than two decades, Cous Cous Fest has been promoting values of integration and mutual respect, making a message of hope even more important today. Italian Couscous Championship

Four Italian chefs are competing for the chance to become the Italian Champion and participate in the World Championship as chef representing Italy.

Next Generation Student Contest

Four very young students from hotel schools all over Italy will have 45 minutes to create a recipe. The winner will join the Italian chef during the World Championship.

Couscous World Championship

The Cous Cous World Championship, the beating heart of the festival, pits eight nations against each other in the name of exchange, integration and peace. The chefs prepare the recipes of their countries live on the stage of the Bia Theatre. A jury of experts and the public will taste the dishes and choose the Cous Cous World Champion.

Celebrity cookery shows, wine tastings and cultural insights at the Bia Theatre.

Piazza Santuario is transformed into a theatre of flavours and entertainment, with cooking shows, conferences, cooking classes, meetings and wine tastings. The public will be able to take part in the many events taking place every day and taste Sicilian recipes and wines. Entrance subject to availability.

Couscous tastings from the World at the Couscous Houses

More than 20 recipes to taste in the Couscous houses, every day from 12 noon to midnight. From the San Vito recipe, based on fish, to the most curious variations of international traditions, based on mutton, chicken and mixed meats, vegetarian and, of course, gluten-free couscous.

Expovillage: a tour to discover scents, colours, flavours and emotions

Every day from 12 noon to midnight a colourful suq where you can find the best of the vibrant Sicilian and Mediterranean artisan and agri-food production.

Big concerts and free live shows on the beach

The free concerts on the beach stage during the Cous Cous Fest in San Vito Lo Capo are an unforgettable experience that combines music, the beauty of the sea and the energy of the people. The beach of San Vito Lo Capo offers a spectacular setting: golden sand, crystal clear water and the scent of the sea in the air.
