General regulations tasting ticket and Bia Theatre

Article 1 – General characteristics of the ticket

Cous Cous Fest tasting tickets are sold by Feedback srl unipersonale, based in Palermo, Via Libertà 103, VAT number 04557030824. Feedback uses the collaboration of professional operators for the preparation and administration of food, meals and beverages. The person who purchases the tickets declares that he/she has read these regulations (posted at the ticket offices and available on the website www.couscousfest.it and www.vivaticket.com) and that he/she accepts its conditions in full, relieving the organization of all responsibility for any injuries, thefts or accidental adverse events that may occur along the tasting route and/or in other streets and roads traveled throughout the duration of the event.

Tasting tickets are non-refundable, even if partially used.

The staff in charge of controls will check the validity of the ticket and/or voucher (in case of online purchase). If the data indicated do not match, the voucher is already used or the ticket is forged or altered, the staff in charge will not be able to allow the administration of the tasting. Feedback srl reserves the right to make the appropriate checks and report any abuse to the competent authorities.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.couscousfest.it and www.vivaticket.com, at official Vivaticket outlets and in San Vito Lo Capo at the Cous Cous Fest ticket offices during the event.

For each online purchase, a ticket will be delivered via email to the buyer, which must be shown directly at the Cous Cous houses or Bia Theatre to access the purchased event. No receipt will be issued for online purchases. An invoice can be requested at the time of online purchase. A receipt will be issued at the same time for each purchase made at the Cous Cous Fest ticket offices. If requested, the electronic invoice will be sent after the purchase upon provision of all purchaser’s tax information.

Article 2 – Tasting Tickets Cous Cous Houses

Tickets for tasting at the Cous Cous Houses can be purchased on the websites www.couscousfest.it and www.vivaticket.com, at official Vivaticket outlets or at the Cous Cous Fest ticket offices (open from September 20 to 29, 2024 from 12 noon to midnight).

There are 3 Cous Cous Houses and they are open from September 20 to 29 from 12 noon to midnight:

The ticket costs €12 and entitles the holder to a dish of cous cous (about 200g) of his choice from those offered on the menus (posted at the Cous Cous Houses or available at www.couscousfest.it), a glass of wine (about 200ml) or a small bottle of water (500 ml), a coffee or a bitter tasting (to be picked up at the designated points indicated on the map).
The ticket entitles you to the tasting exclusively on the days and times of the event.

Promotions will take place before and during the event that will allow the buyer to get the tasting ticket with a discount determined by time (e.g.: purchase before the start of the event) and/or quantity (e.g. formula: “purchase min. 5 tickets, 20% discount”). All promotions will have details and regulations available directly on the relevant sales pages at www.cousocusfest.it or at www.vivavticket.com.

Article 3 – Bia Theatre event tickets.

The Bia Theatre is the structure installed in Piazza Santuario on the occasion of Cous Cous Fest.

Tickets to access the scheduled events at the Bia Theatre can be purchased online on the websites www.couscousfest.it and www.vivaticket.com, at official Vivaticket outlets or at or from the Bia Theatre ticket office located in Piazza Santuario, next to the Bia Theatre, from September 20 to 29, 2024 (from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.).

The staff in charge of controls will verify the validity of the ticket and/or electronic vouchers and allow the service to be provided and thus allow participation in the events indicated in the same.

If the data indicated do not match or the voucher is already used, the staff in charge may not allow entry.

It is obligatory to respect the entrance time indicated on the reservation document. It is necessary to be at the entrance at least 20 minutes before the starting time.

Those in possession of the ticket and/or vaucher who show up after the start of the appointment will lose the right to enter the Bia Theatre and thus the tasting and voting. In this circumstance, the ticket cannot be refunded.

Feedback Ltd. reserves the right to make the appropriate checks and, in case of abuse, to intervene in the most appropriate ways.

The ticket has a unit and variable cost of 10€, 15€, 20€, 30€ and entitles to attend the scheduled events.

The ticket includes admission to the Bia Theatre and the tasting of one or more recipes (depending on the event purchased) served at the table, paired with one or more glasses of wine (depending on the event purchased) and a 500ml brik of water.

The Italian and World Couscous Championships event ticket also includes the opportunity to participate in the voting as a member of the popular jury.

Article 4 – Information to customers in accordance with EU Regulation 1169/2011 regarding allergies, food intolerances or food-related illnesses

All products/meals offered for tasting at the Cous Cous Houses and at the Bia Theatre may contain, as an ingredient or in traces (as they are processed at the same laboratory), the following substances or their derivative products: gluten-containing grains (wheat, rye, barley, oats, spelt, kamut® or their hybridized strains), peanuts, soy, lupine, nuts, celery, mustard, sesame seeds, fish, shellfish, mollusks, milk, eggs, sulfur dioxide and sulfites in concentrations greater than 10 mg/kg. Patrons who have food allergies and/or intolerances may ask the food manager of each Cous Cous House for information about the food and drinks offered on the menu.

According to EU Reg. 1169/2011 these 14 ingredients/substances/products may cause allergies or intolerances along with the ingredients introduced in the food:

  1. Cereals containing gluten, i.e., wheat, rye, barley, oats, spelt, kamut® or their hybridized strains and derived products, except: a) wheat-based glucose syrups, including dextrose; b) wheat-based maltodextrins; c) barley-based glucose syrups; d) cereals used in the manufacture of alcoholic distillates, including ethyl alcohol of agricultural origin.
  2. Crustaceans and crustacean products.
  3. Eggs and products made from eggs.
  4. Fish and fish products, except: a) fish gelatin used as a carrier for vitamin or carotenoid preparations; b) gelatin or isinglass used as a clarifying agent in beer and wine.
  5. Peanuts and peanut products.
  6. Soybeans and soybean products, except (a) refined soybean oil and fat; (b) natural mixed tocopherols (E306), natural D-alpha tocopherol, natural D-alpha tocopherol acetate, natural D-alpha tocopherol succinate; (c) vegetable oils derived from soybean-based phytosterols and phytosterol esters; (d) vegetable stanol ester produced from soybean-based vegetable oil sterols.
  7. Milk and milk products (including lactose), except: a) whey used in the manufacture of alcoholic distillates, including ethyl alcohol of agricultural origin; b) lactool.
  8. Nuts, i.e.: almonds (Amygdalus communis L.), hazelnuts (Corylus avellana), walnuts (Juglans regia), cashew nuts (Anacardium occidentale), pecans [Carya illinoinensis (Wangenh.) K. Koch], Brazil nuts (Bertholletia excelsa), pistachio nuts (Pistacia vera), macadamia nuts or Queensland walnuts (Macadamia ternifolia), and their products, except for nuts used in the manufacture of alcoholic spirits, including ethyl alcohol of agricultural origin.
  9. Celery and celery products.
  10. Mustard and mustard products.
  11. Sesame seeds and products made from sesame seeds.
  12. Sulfur dioxide and sulfites in concentrations exceeding 10 mg/kg or 10 mg/liter in terms of total SO 2 to be calculated for products as proposed ready-to-eat or reconstituted in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions.
  13. Lupins and lupin products.
  14. Molluscs and mollusc products.

Article 5 – Publication of videos and pictures

The purchase of the ticket involving access to the cous cous houses and the Bia Theatre, and/or the eventual access to the Bia Theatre with a complimentary title, authorize the use of the images of the participants – to be considered carried out free of charge – vis-à-vis Feedback srl (Data Controller) and its appointees in accordance with the current provisions on image transfer. The purchase of the tasting ticket at the Cous Cous houses and the entrance ticket to the Bia Theatre and/or the eventual access with a complimentary title therefore entails the explicit authorization to Feedback srl and its assignees and/or assignees, to the diffusion in Italy and abroad of the image as content on any analog and digital media, on websites and on the internet (henceforth collectively: “Means of Communication”). The release is intended to relate to the use in the Means of Communication, without limitation of passages, reissues and reproductions. The rights assigned include, by way of example, the right to: rework or transform the assigned materials (including backstage materials), to make compendia and/or anthology collections thereof, to broadcast them on radio/television/home-video/cd-rom/dvd, to reproduce them on videotapes, on tapes and on any other visual device known or to be invented in the future. Nothing therefore may be requested by the subject represented by Feedback srl and its assignees for the filming of its person in the circumstances indicated above. The scope of dissemination of the images coincides with the scope of dissemination of the Means of Communication.
The videos and images will be processed and stored until the owner requests to revoke consent to the processing. Processing carried out before revocation will still remain legitimate.
With reference to Article 6 of GDPR 679/2016, the data subject may revoke consent at any time. With reference to Articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 20 and 21 of GDPR 679/2016 at any time, data subjects may exercise their rights against the Data Controller by calling +39 091 6263080 or by sending an email to info@feedback.it.
